We are an international charity that brings high quality education to the most remote and marginalised communities in the world.

In the UK, we distribute nearly 5,000 books annually and provide literacy support to families in areas with high levels of disadvantage. We also distribute our Baby Board Books, translated into 12 languages, to engage migrant and refugee families to read with their children.  

In Norther Uganda, our Sun Books programme provides children in ‘off the grid’ classrooms with solar-powered tablets which come pre-loaded with e-books and other educational resources.

Through our global network of Youth Ambassadors, trained by us, we advocate for literacy as a fundamental human right.
