Real Action is a community literacy charity. We teach deprived children aged 5 to 12 how to read and increase their fluency. Through our ‘Butterfly’ teaching programme, we’ve helped around 4,000 children to improve their reading age by an average of 12 months after 20 hours of classes since 1999.
