Established in 2015, Breaking Barriers helps refugees acquire knowledge, confidence and experience to gain sustainable employment. We partner with local businesses and corporates to provide refugees with bespoke, paid work placements that suit their skills and experience. We also offer personalised employment support, work-specific English and IT classes. Over the last 3 years, we’ve supported 600 refugees in London of whom 40% are single women with children.
