Just around the corner, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. The time when children’s dreams come true. The wish lists for Santa have been written and sent to the North Pole, his little elves working hard to fulfil every single one of them.
But for many children, like Sammy from Parklands primary school in Leeds, there is little hope of a visit from Santa. His mother struggles to put food on the table, let alone buy him a Christmas present. This year, however, Sammy is getting a present and a Christmas Eve party thanks to the generosity of teachers, local businesses and charities such as Magic Breakfast, going the extra mile every day to support pupils and schools in deprived areas.
Making good things happen
Because Christmas is the time for giving, we want to celebrate the generosity of our little birthday heroes and our charity partners bringing joy, hope and laughter into the lives of children like Sammy.
Changing the way we celebrate
And if you want to make a difference this Christmas or any other wonderful time of the year, you know what’s the easiest way? Just throw a party, choose a charity and let it snow…
After all, how many presents does one need to feel happy and appreciated?
One child, one gift
Helping the environment with less waste and more kindness.
Let’s celebrate, share and donate.
